Gregg has an extensive background in construction and a strong understanding of building science. Prior to starting Balanced Energy Solutions, Gregg worked for the Energy Star New Homes Program, an Energy Trust of Oregon certification and rebate program for builders that is administered by Conservation Services Group. While on the Energy Star New Homes Program, Gregg assisted in delivering building science presentations to builders, sub-contractors, and local technical schools trying to meet program standards. Gregg started Balanced Energy Solutions to create awareness and educate individuals about their homes. He is passionate about informing how your lifestyle, the materials used to build/improve the home, and the natural environment affect the indoor air quality, comfort, durability and energy use in your home.

When he isn’t at a job site or working with a client, Gregg can be found organizing his garage, crafting woodworking projects, hiking in the gorge and walking his best friend, a Chocolate Lab named Herman.
